We propose the inhabitation of residual space along the suburban railway of Athens and the transformation of infrastructure into public space. A resulting series of local interventions are connected by train composing the Linear Park. To organize those, we create a kit of parts which relates to railway structures, fits in every station and allows the sectional completion of the project. Two general strategies of intervention operate in the project: the expansion of train platforms in order to receive more uses and the creation of new bridge structures that bring the urban fabric in the stations. Suburban railway stations become infrastructure for retail and leisure development; they are transformed to common spaces, enforcing the community coherence and social structure. This structure directly relates infrastructure to a new type of landscape, reinforcing the relationship between human activity and urban nature, redistributing and revitalizing existing resources.
