Angeliki Chatzidimitriou is an Architect Engineer specialized in sustainable environmental design. Her research and practice focus on environmental design of buildings and urban open spaces, microclimate development and outdoor thermal comfort. She received her diploma from the Architecture dept. of AUTh in 2001, she holds an MA degree in Environment and Energy Studies from the Architectural Association, a PhD from the Civil Engineering Dept. of AUTh and has completed two Post Doctoral studies in Architecture Dept of AUTH. She has participated in several interdisciplinary academic research projects, presented research in international conferences and published in peer reviewed journals. She has taught courses of architectural and environmental design in undergraduate and post graduate academic study programs in Greece (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, TEI of Central Macedonia, Hellenic Open University), given lectures in Greece and the UK, joined scientific committees for regulation codes formulation on building energy performance and bioclimatic design and collaborated with architecture practices as an environmental design consultant in public and private design projects. In 2023 she was elected assistant professor of sustainable environmental design at the Architecture department of the University of Patras.
