The typical light well of the greek post-war polykatoikia is widened, activated and redefined. The small, empty and residual space gives way to vertical commodious rooms, which create the right conditions for new urban narrations between the existing buildings. A playground, a library and some rest units become the new balconies for the child, the student and the office worker respectively. Their main function is to bring natural light into the heart of the buildings and consolidate their residential activities.
