The site of interest of the project is located along the highway that connects athens with lamia. On this national road, on the 93th kilometer, near the lake Yliki, I designed a system that consists of two different cores, a travel stop and a motel. The first is placed near the highway, intending to serve the needs of the traveler, while the latter is placed near the shores of the lake as an effort to redifine the scenery where motels are usually placed and the way they remain interconnected to it. The project as a whole, is designed in a way that intends to respect and at the same time give another perspective of the landscape of the near area, making travelling a different experience.
