This thesis focuses on the design of a new archaeological and digital museum in ancient Olympia. The study aims to offer a new museological organization in relation to the existing museums and incorporate new digital techniques. Purpose of the study is the expansion of the archaeological site and the inclusion of Kronios hill in the archaeological walk. The idea of the museological development is based on a continuous linear dating of the Olympics until today. Planning the museum, it is placed in a direct relationship with the natural slopes. In the course of the development of the museum, the space of virtual reality will interfere emphatically by the form of a dome. Overall, the intervention aims to bring together the natural landscape and the linear building complexes, carving courses and adding places by opening optical escapes, for an overall experience of both archaeological walk and natural landscape of ancient Olympia.
