The Central Market Athens, built in 1962-1963 by P.Vasileiadis and G.Mpogdanos, is one of the greatest examples of modern contemporary Greek architecture. But over the years the constructions were neglected and distorted. The aim of the project is to highlight these architectural structures and partialy redefine their use and design. More specifically we are '' revealing '' two of the original units, adding two more new units, made of modern materials and a footbridge to serve the residents. So a part of the vegetable market converts into a retail market for the audience with public parking space and park.
