Paraskevi (Evi) K. Askouni holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Patras, with the topic of her PhD thesis: “Seismic Force Redistribution in Asymmetrical Reinforced Concrete Buildings due to Soil-Structure Interaction” (2020). She holds a Master’s Degree in “Civil Engineering Infrastructure Projects” (2004), with the topic of her Master’s Thesis: “Static and Dynamic Analysis of the Vaulted Tomb of Atreus in Mycenae”. She is a Diplomate in Civil Engineering from the University of Patras (ranked 1st/145), and holder of the Unified and Indivisible Degree of Studies in Civil Engineering at the Postgraduate Level “Integrated Master” in Civil Engineering (2002).

She has been awarded scholarships and awards during her undergraduate and postgraduate studies by the I.K.Y. and the T.E.E. She has participated in research programs of the University of Patras. She has taught in the departments of Civil Engineering of the University of Patras, Civil Engineering of the University of Peloponnese, Civil Infrastructure Projects of the Technical University of Patras, and Building Renovation & Rehabilitation of the Technical University of Patras.

Her research interests focus on Earthquake Design and Assessment of Structures, Soil-Structure Interaction, as well as Integrated Design and Management of Construction Information (Building Information Modelling “B.I.M.”). She is professionally active as a civil engineer in the design and construction of technical projects based in Patras, and collaborates with the architectural firm “POINT Architects” headed by Mimi K. Askouni, Architect MSc, University of Patras.
