Polykatoikia

Design of a polykatoikia (apartment building) with various public programs in an urban site. Short bibliographic research and analysis of important examples of buildings from Greek and international architecture that incorporate multiple programs. Questions investigated: Relation of proposal with urban fabric, relation between the programs, public-private, access to programs, importance of vertical circulation. Project development (analysis, concept and concept development, functional givens, representational means).
