Closer examination of the architectural detailing of the enclosure system of a building including doors and windows, cladding, curtain walls, railings and other finishing. Development of detailing for the interior of a conventional building: floors, ceilings, dry construction partitions, fixed furnishings, etc. Introduction of the students to the design of small scale frames and structures with timber and steel. The better understanding of the studio’s scope is achieved in the course of preparing exercises with joinery and partitions and also a small topic on the detail design of a kiosk.
